What is Girls In Gloves

Girl In Gloves is a new weekend group put on by Priory Park Boxing Club to promote boxing to our young female community.

This class starts on Saturday 3rd of June and will run from 12:00 to 01:00pm. We hope to keep the class running as long possible.

We would like to thank Sports England for funding this course and making this possible.

12 Week Pilot Course

All the participant dropped weight, gained confidence and the much need knowledge to keep it there mental and physical wellbeing .

Emergency Bleed Control Kit Public Acess

Today we unveiled another Dudley first, a public access bleed control cabinet for the community.

This is part of the campaign myself and local residents like Karl Denning have been running to improve community safety.

A massive thank you to Lynne McleodFinch-Baird Mbe from the Daniel Baird Foundation for donating the cabinet and 5 bleed control kits, and to Paul Gough for having this on the side of the brilliant Priory Park Boxing Club building.

The work that Lynne does to improve safety with these kits makes a massive difference, and saves lives, the same for Paul and the whole team at the gym who do so much to support local kids and residents, so a big thank you for all you do.

I'll be distributing the other kits to local businesses and organisations in Dudley as we continue our campaign to improve community safety.

Well done to Ladies Bootcamp for doing the 5k challenge raising £500 for Black Country Mental Health . Thanks to chairman Alderman Dave Tyler for coming to the gym for the cheque this morning. They do a fantastic job and we will be raising much more needed funds for them in the future.

We recently with out friends MP Marco Longhi and WM Mayor Andy Street took matters into our own hands in the local nature reserve and cleaned up the mess that someone had needlessly left behind!  Big thanks to the ones from our club this morning that helped tidy up our community.
